What is a slip axis? The so-called slip axis, that is, on the same reel, an axis with a large diameter and a small diameter but capable of rewinding.
Slip axis, which is also known as the friction axis, is applied to the slitter rewinding reel. Besides, special occasions are also used to put the reel. The purpose is to use the principle of sliding slip rings on the slippery shaft so that a plurality of reel material on the shaft can always maintain a constant tension retractable reel. The function of the take-up reel is that the multi-reel material after slitting various materials is evenly and neatly wound from the core to the outer layer on one or two axes with constant tension. However, due to the uneven thickness of the material itself, there is a certain thickness error. After the coil material is continuously coiled, the diameter of each coil material has a larger accumulated error. This results in a greater difference in the take-up speed of each strip and a greater difference in tension. As a result, the roll material is not tight and the end faces are uneven. In severe cases, material damage due to excessive tensile force is discarded. In particular, the polyester film not only has a large thickness error, but also has a large elongation. It is easily deformed to cause waste. The special structure of the slip axis consists of multiple slip rings, which can overcome the above phenomena. During operation, the slip ring is controlled to slip with a certain slip torque value (torque), and the slip amount just compensates for the generated speed difference, so that the tension of each roll of material is accurately controlled, and the constant tension is taken up to ensure coiling quality.
With the improvement of people’s living standards and the development of science and technology, higher and higher requirements are placed on flexible packaging products. The elongation rate of films is getting smaller and smaller, and the uniformity of the winding end face is getting higher and higher. Tension control puts forward higher requirements. The tension control accuracy of the take-up reel directly determines the elongation of the slitting product and the uniformity of the end face. Therefore, it is necessary to use the slip axis. The use of the slip axis can improve the speed of the
slitter, the precision of winding, the degree of automation, the reduction of preparation time, and the humanization of operations. In particular, many kinds of cast polyester materials with poor tensile strength and large thickness error use slip axes, and the difficulty of winding is reduced. Slippage rolling of valuable materials metal foil application greatly increases the quality rate and reduces production costs. Special production costs and special paper are the earliest application of this technology.
At present, the slip axis has been widely used in various industries. For example, plastic film (including electronics, capacitors, battery film, cling film, packaging, composite film), metal foil (copper foil, aluminum foil, etc.), paper roll (PVC film roll slitting volume). Currently it is continuously extended to other fields, other industries, and cutting of other special materials. The winding is in the form of center winding, surface winding, and surface center winding. The following focuses on the central winding retraction shaft. That is , the main structure of four types: central pressure slip axis, pneumatic side differential pressure slip, mechanical side slip differential axis, expansion axis.
